NEW FURUNO MFD

-

Furuno’s third-generation NavNet TZtouch3 series of three multifunction displays debuted in early 2020 with 12-, 16- and 19-inch models, and they quickly became the most sought-after displays among boaters for their power, networking capabilities and ease of use. Now Furuno adds a compact new MFD to the family.

Furuno’s new 9-inch NavNet model—the TZT9F—is similar to its TZtouch 12-inch model, but better suited for helms and flybridges where mounting space is limited. The TZT9F’s

Hybrid Control system includes a bright, high-definition IPS multitouch display with an integrated control panel that features Furuno’s RotoKey and dedicated physical buttons.

The TZT9F features a powerful quad-core processor, fourway split-screen capability, and lightning-fast response time. There’s also a built-in 1 kW single-channel TruEcho CHIRP fish finder. A 50/200 kHz fish finder is also included.

The new MFD can be networked with a wide range of systems, including Furuno’s DRS and NXT radars, AIS, VHF and NavPilot autopilot, as well as other TZTouch3 displays. You can also connect the DFF3D multibeam sonar, which allows you to see a 120-degree swath from port to starboard for over 650 feet to each side, and nearly 1,000 feet directly beneath the boat, with multiple versatile display-view options. They can network with Furuno’s new Deep Impact DI-FFAMP amplifier, a sounder option that increases power to 2 or even 3 kW.

The TZT3F includes an extensive library of MapMedia raster and vector cartography for US coastal areas, with even more chart options available for purchase, including C-Map, Datacore by Navionics, and CMOR bathymetric charts. The Furuno TZT9F starts at $2,995; furunousa.com.
