The Dual Pro line has one of the longest track records in onboard battery maintenance, with probably millions of hours in tournament fishing trials. The system is powerful and intuitive, and capable of being reprogrammed at the factory to handle lithium and gel cells in addition to wet and AGM cells.

BATTERY TYPE SELECTION: Lead-acid or AGM settings are user-selectable. Custom factory settings are required for lithium-ion and gel.

DISPLAY: Each bank’s status is displayed via an LED bar. Solid green means fully charged, and flashing green means charging is in progress and level, while red LEDs indicate a faulty connection or battery.

WE LIKE: The charger is repairable, not disposable, should one bank fail. Its LED indicators are extremely bright, even in full sun. It has the capability to start a charge on fully discharged batteries—something few chargers can do.

WE WISH: The system could be programmed by the user to charge gel or lithium-ion batteries—we hear there may soon be a more convenient solution for that.

OPTIONS:

The BOS (battery optimization system) automatically monitors each battery charge level and focuses charger current from higher-charged batteries to lowercharged batteries ($283 to $300).
