Permanently installed battery chargers add reliability, ease maintenance, and let you spend more time boating instead of fiddling or fretting with battery power.

Whether you water-ski, wakeboard, fish or just rock the sandbar with a mega-amp stereo, chances are your boat has more than one battery on board. If it does, you need an installed onboard charger capable of charging, maintaining and conditioning your batteries between outings. We’ve opted to cover maximum three- and fourbank chargers, but each of these (our favorites) comes in one- and two-bank versions as well—and the fewer banks, the lower the price. So, if you’re a skipper with a runabout, an amped-up stereo and a house battery, there is one for you—and you need it.
