ADAPTER KITS

A number of outboard models require adapter kits for proper fit with BayStar hydraulic cylinders. Our Suzuki DF70 outboard, for example, required a SeaStar HO5050 spacer kit ($29.99, hodgesmarine .com) for the HC4645-3 cylinder that was part of the BayStar kit. The spacer kit includes a 1/2-inch-thick aluminum spacer that goes between the outboard tiller arm and hydraulic cylinder pivot plate to create a parallel alignment.
