AIRWAVE PRO SERIES VHF ANTENNA

The AirWave 4-foottall Pro Series VHF antenna is perfect for boats that don’t have a lot of mounting space. The relatively low profile of this 6 dB antenna also helps preserve the style lines of a boat. It’s available in either black or white.

Recently, we tested one aboard a restored 1970s vintage bowrider and found it offered easy installation and outstanding performance. We installed the 75-watt antenna on a West Marine ratchet-mount base, which allowed us to easily fold down this antenna for trailering and storage.

Made in the US, the Pro Series antenna has an ultra-high-grade fiberglass exterior warrantied for life not to splinter, with internal brass tubes for premium reception and transmission. It features the ProConnect, a thin, factory-installed screw-on adapter system that eliminates the need to solder on a connector after running the 5-foot-long cable. This simplifies installation and reduces the hole size you need to drill to route the dual-shielded coaxial cable through the deck or bulkhead.
