Q: Dear Doc, is there a natural, nontoxic polish for stainless steel that I can use aboard my boat?

A: Yes, lemon juice. Bonus: It smells nice. Squeeze some juice onto a damp rag, or use halves, quarters or whole lemons to apply, and rub on the citric-acid-laden juice. Wipe off with a clean rag.
