SUZUKI AND FURUNO FISH HUNTER DRIVE

Suzuki Marine has teamed with Furuno in a new autopilot system that verges on the edge of autonomous boat operation. Not only will this autopilot system keep you on course while underway, but it can also automatically stop the boat at your fishing destination and keep you over the hotspot.

Called the Fish Hunter Drive autopilot, it’s designed to integrate these amazing capabilities with all-new Suzuki drive-by-wire fourstroke outboards from 115 to 350 hp. The Fish Hunter Drive will work with compatible single or multiple Suzuki engine installations.

At the heart of the system is Furuno’s NavPilot 300. Thanks to specially developed software, this autopilot will plug-and-play with the new Suzuki Precision Control (SPC 2.0) system to electronically maintain boat speed, automatically stop at fishing spots, maintain heading while drifting, or hold position over a wreck or bait school.

Suggested retail for the NavPilot 300 system is $1,600, excluding the Suzuki SPC 2.0 controls. If you already have a NavPilot
