27th annual “Ding” Darling Days (Oct. 16-22) “Ding” Darling Days’ Family Fun Day on Sunday, Oct. 16, eco-activities, free refuge tram tours, live wildlife presentati­ons, hot dogs, kids crafts and more. Birding, boating, tram tours, paddle-boarding and kayaking activities fill the week. This event also recognizes the 100th anniversar­y of the Migratory Bird Treaty.
