Libby’s bird shows are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m., November 1 until May 1, but people can walk in and see the birds in the public area most days. Check in at the gatehouse and tell the receptionist that you want to see the birds. You’ll be directed to a small parking area, and from there it’s a short walk to the bird and mini-zoo area. More of Dick Muench’s birds are on display in the gardens at Jerry’s Shopping Center, a little farther up Periwinkle Way. Stop by and chat with the friendly and talkative parrots.
