Frank Phillips College Academic Awards Ceremony
Frank Phillips College held their annual Academic Awards Ceremony for the 2020-2021 year on Thursday evening at the Borger Community Activity Center on the Borger campus.
At Thursday’s ceremony, 29 nurses were pinned. The nurses pinned were: Kaittlynne Armstrong, Karen Becerril, Lindsey Bruns, Charity Burton, Layton Butler, Jennifer Cabeen, Maribel Carder, Noely Escobar, Iliana Gonzalez Arcos, Destiny Guzman, Amairani Jaquez, Katy Lawrence, Hannah Long, Ashley Lucero, Sonya Medina, Brittany Miles, Gloria Muro, Jeannie Olson, Ashley Ortiz, Iris Quintana, Danielle Ramos, Jessica Reyna, Desiree Robles, Jillian Shepard, Scarlett Shields, Patrick smith, Ariel Thomas, Maricella Vargas, and Kaylee Yarger.
Also honored at Thursday’s ceremony was members of the Phi Theta Kappa. The Phi Theta Kappa is a national honor society. Honored were Raquelle Bernal, Steven Burney, Katherine Davis, Nadya De La Cruz, Zoie Garcia, Caitlin Kreider, Alisha Myers, Kinsey Nicholson, Kamry Perez, Kate Ramirez, Audie Rice, Rocky Rodriguez, Jose Rosales, Jade Skaggs, Madison Steinkamp, and Trinity Walker.
High School and College Graduates were also honored at Thursday evenings ceremony. They were ffrom Borger: Pearson Bailey, Benjamin Brown, Alex Clements, Kelsy Coffee, Cash Conaway, Cameron Counts, Isabella Diaz, David
Espinosa, Camron Figer, Danny Harbin, Camden Hernandez, Kyli Hernandez, Kloe Holt, Ryan Howes, Kaleb Hughes, Aidan Johnston, Joseline Lopez, Hayleigh Martinez, Josue Miramontes, Gabriel Pimental, Kayli Potts, Dane Pyle, Kendall Stewart, Kristian Swindell, and Julian Word.
