Richard C. Arnold passed into his Heavenly Home on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in Amarillo.

He was born October 17, 1930 in Chillicoth­e, Texas to B. Atlas and Mary Ellen (Brock) Arnold. On July 3, 1952, Richard Clint Arnold and Martha Nell Greenup were married in Memphis, Tennessee.

Mr. Arnold was a Phillips/Borger resident since 1940. He was baptized in 1940 during Vacation Bible School at the First Baptist Church, Plainview, Texas. After receiving his Associate Degree from Frank Phillips College, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving his country in the Korean War. After 4 years of service, he received an honorable discharge on October 11, 1954. On December 31, 1992, he retired from Phillips 66 Pipeline Company after 38 1/2 years where he was a corrosion technician. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Borger.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his loving wife of 58 years, Martha(2009) and his sister, Sandra Kay Arnold Barnett.

Left behind to forever cherish his memory are their 2 daughters: Sharon Stricklin of Edmond, Oklahoma and Tanya Fraley and husband Cole of Amarillo, Texas; 6 grandchild­ren: Jason Hardin and wife Katy, Brian Hardin, Doug Hardin and wife Megan, Michelle Stricklin, Melissa Stricklin and domestic partner Kurt Radtke and Samuel Stricklin and wife Emily; 6 great-grandchild­ren: Andrew, Matthew, Cutter, Emma, Maggie and Dawson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Browns Chapel of the Fountains, 206 W. 1st St., Borger. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2215 N. Price Rd, Pampa, Texas.

The family will welcome friends on Friday, May 14, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Browns Chapel of the Fountain
