Leadership Borger to begin September 22, 2021

Beginning the 33rd year, Leadership Borger will kick off in September, 2021. This is an eightsession intensive look at the community of Borger and Hutchinson County, and an opportunity to gain knowledge to enhance participants existing leadership skills. Leadership Borger begins in September 2021 and ends in March 2022, with graduation planned during the Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet on March 31, 2022.

Leadership Borger is designed to feature:

• Different perspectives in several areas of the community (education, health care, city & county government etc.),

• Building of leadership skills through workshops, field trip tours, & hands-on training,

• Study of present economic & community trends, and,

• Knowledge on challenges facing various facets of our community. Employers who enroll their employees should find that their employees will:

• Develop new leadership skills and confidence,

• Enhance their knowledge of the community in which they work and live,

• Develop new network channels with other class participants, and,

• Build their knowledge & awareness of state and local facilities and resources

Enrollment application is enclosed. Class size is limited. Please return your form and your enrollment fees immediately. Cost will be $400.00 for Chamber members and their employees and $450.00 for non-Chamber members. If you need to make billing arrangements for your company, please call Monica at 274-2211. Cost covers shirt, banquet ticket, materials, trainers, speakers, meals, snacks, and some transportation.

March 31, 2022 Graduation – Annual Chamber Banquet

Note: This year due to the scheduling of our banquet and Leadership Borger Graduation, we will hold two sessions in March. (Please be aware that we try to hold firm to these dates but occasionally we may be required to move a session for presenter or weather.)

Graduation for Leadership Borger participants takes place at the Annual Borger Chamber Commerce Banquet scheduled on March 28, 2019.
