SUZANNE H. ENSEY

Suzanne H. Ensey, 64, of Borger, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Borger. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Faith Covenant Church, officiated by Pastor Les Sharp.

Suzanne was born on March 11, 1958 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Sidney Andrew Laughlin and Alice Lee Laughlin. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1976.

Suzanne lived in many places growing up as a child. Her dad married Oma Lee in 1969, and Oma Lee and Sid raised her to adulthood.

Suzanne met Terry Ensey when she was 14, and they married in 1976, moving to Borger. At that time, Suzanne worked for Dr. John Robbins DDS. After John’s passing in 2006, she went to work for the juvenile probation department for Hutchinson County.

Her son and her grandkids were the highlight of her life-cherishing every sporting event and any function they are involved in. She gave of herself so much, devoting herself to her friends and family.

Suzanne had been a devoted member of her sorority, Xi Zeta Mu, for 23 years, and was a recipient of the “Perfect Attendance Award” every year. She had also served as sorority president and received numerous other honors and awards.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her birth mother.

Surviving her is her husband Terry of the home; son Adam and his wife Stacie of Claude; grandchildren, Dawson, Brynnley, and Madeline Ensey of Claude; brothers- John Cully of Shattuck, Oklahoma and Pete Laughlin of Muskogee, Oklahoma; along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Suzanne was much loved, and will be greatly missed.
