Jaden Kael Willis, 21, of Borger, passed away July 18, 2022 in College Station, Texas.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 25 at First Baptist Church in Borger, officiated by Les Sharp. Arrangemen­ts are under the direction of Burgin Funeral Home.

Jaden was born on January 9, 2001 in Amarillo.

She attended school in Borger, Little Cypress, Mauricevil­le, and Doha, Qatar – then finally returned to Borger to complete her education, graduating from Borger High School in 2019.

As a child, she loved and excelled at gymnastics. She was very active in school, participat­ing in volleyball, soccer, track, and UIL academic events. Jaden was among the Top Ten in her class and was a member of

National Honor Society. She graduated from high school to with almost enough concurrent college credit to be classified as a college junior.

Jaden was very active in her church youth ministry, and often worked in her church nursery. She loved babies and babies loved her!

Jaden loved adventure! She was fearless and would try anything. She’s described as a “foodie” who loved to cook and experiment with different cuisines. She never said no to trying something new and different. She also loved to ski, shoot, hunt, fish, hike and just be outdoors. Sunrises and sunsets were some of her favorite things. One of her favorite adventures was skiing the Swiss Alps. She also excelled at swimming and worked as a lifeguard.

Some of her favorite adventures were road-tripping and antiquing with her mom. She saved and repurposed everything and was somewhat of a “hoarder.” She filled her home with things that had a story. She had an old soul who found so much joy in the little things.

Jaden also loved music, dancing, and experienci­ng life to the fullest! She’s often described as a bright light who loved her family and friends fiercely. In fact, every friend she had became “family” to her. She had unwavering faith and showed boundless grace to everyone.

Jaden was preceded in death by her Granny, Pat Shultz; Grandma, Billie Deaver; Grandma, Lilly Eberting; Grandpa, Jerry Deaver; and cousin, Jerry “Toader” Deaver.

She is survived by her mother, Cindy Reinhart and husband, Chuck; her father, Paton Willis and wife, Bee; her siblings, Jace, Stormy, Ireland, Tristan, Payton, Addie Belle, Addy, and Harper Kyle; her grandparen­ts, LD Shultz, Kim and Scott Willis, Cathy Deaver and Donnie, Ronnie and Nonnie McQuay, Cassie and David Dover, and Ree and Pop Reinhart; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

Jaden is also survived by her furbaby, Waylon Jennings Willis, who was her constant companion.

To know Jaden was to love her.

Jaden would tell you that her fur baby, Waylon was the light of her life, but to everyone that knew and loved Jaden, she was theirs.

She loved BIG and she had a way of making everyone around her feel her joy. She had a servant’s heart, not just for Him but for everyone she met. She was an inspiratio­n for those around her with her endless smile, positivity, and kindness. Jaden had one of those great laughs, the kind that is unforgetta­ble and inspires joy.

She was known for being thoughtful and having a servant’s heart. In accordance with her desire to bless others, she was an organ donor, and will continue to bless lives.
