GOOD. Water lightly stained; 75 degrees; 5.59 feet below pool. Fishing pattens are holding steady and should continue throughout the summer. SLOW. Slightly stained; 74-80 degrees; 5.88 feet below pool. Black bass to 7.87 pounds are good on jigs, crankbaits and spinnerbai­ts in 2-15 feet of water. Crappie are slow in brush piles on jigs in 8-14 feet of water, and on minnows around the docks. White bass are slow to 1.00 pound in the lights using crankbaits, jigs and minnows. Catfish are good to 15 pounds on cut gizzard shad off docks. Anticipate heavy traffic on the lake this weekend with the Memorial Day holiday. Ft. Phantom Hill

GOOD. Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 7.06 feet below pool. Water clarity is dirty on the mainlake, and muddy toward the rivers. Black bass to 8.11 lbs are good on topwaters early in the morning, then jigs and crankbaits in 2-10 feet of water. Crappie excellent in 11-14 feet of water along the shorelines on jigs and crankbaits in 1-5 feet of water. White bass are excellent to two pounds on crankbaits or jigs in 1-3 feet of water along shorelines. Anticipate heavy traffic on the lake this weekend with the Memorial Day holiday. GOOD-. Water stained; 69-74 degrees; 54.63 feet below pool. Spring fishing patterns are holding steady. Bass are excellent on minnows and artificial­s. Catfish are good on nightcrawl­ers, chicken liver, minnows and frozen shad. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and minnows. White bass are excellent on minnows, and jig heads with a curly tailed grub. Trout are fair to slow on minnows, powerbaits, worms, small spinners and flies. Walleye are good to excellent on crankbaits, minnows and artificial­s. Hope this helps you enjoy Lake Meredith.
