A white convicted drug dealer reportedly referenced the race-driven anti-police uprisings in Ferguson, Mo., before going on a rampage that put two Revere cops in the hospital yesterday — one knocked unconscious with a concussion, the other nursing a serious leg injury.

Investigators have not elaborated on what Joseph M. Parker said about Ferguson when cops say he lashed out after he was asked to stop in traffic at a construction detail site on Route 16 around 12:30 a.m..

Assistant Suffolk District Attorney Vincent DeMore said Lt. Jeremiah Goodwin “had no idea where he was or what had happened” after Parker, 34, of Wakefield, got out of his car and barked at Goodwin and Officer Daniel Rosenthal, “(Expletive) you cops with your guns,” and punched Goodwin in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground.

Two men who were in the vehicle with Parker helped Rosenthal subdue their friend. “They stated Parker’s behavior was erratic and the assault was not provoked by the officers,” according to court documents.

Police said they repeatedly shocked Parker with a stun gun to stop him from kicking out the interior of a cruiser, and that he caused $3,000 in damages to a metal detector and injured three more cops at Revere police headquarters.

Parker pleaded not guilty in Chelsea District Court to charges of assault and battery on police, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and malicious destruction of property and was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail. Attorney Daniel Fitzgerald said Parker is on medication for seizures.

Parker was convicted in Middlesex County in 2008 for trafficking cocaine, and was released from prison in March.
