-

The Yankees took advantage of Matt Harvey’s early departure, beating the Mets, 11-2, in interleague, intra-New York play at the National League team’s Citi Field.

Dustin Ackley hit a threerun homer after Carlos Beltran’s go-ahead double, and CC Sabathia (5-9) won for the first time since July 8 as the AL wild card-leading Yankees took 2-of-3 from the NL East-leading Mets.

Harvey was pulled after five scoreless, one-hit innings. The Mets are limiting Harvey’s workload down the regular-season stretch.
