Partners, Spaulding team up for therapy hiring event
Partners HealthCare at Home and Spaulding Rehabilitation Network will be hosting a unique therapy hiring event at Gillette Stadium.
A “Family Day Hiring Event” for Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy professionals is set to take place Oct. 1, 3-6:30 p.m., at Gillette Stadium prior to the New England Revolution game.
“Due to our amazing growth, we are looking to add to our teams throughout Eastern Massachusetts, Boston and Cape Cod,” explained Russell Averna, vice president of human resources, Partners Continuing Care. The event will be held at Gillette Stadium and candidates who attend will have the chance to speak with hiring managers, HR staff and current clinicians about open positions for home care, inpatient and outpatient both at Partners HealthCare at Home and Spaulding Rehabilitation.
“We know how busy people are, and we thought that a hiring event where you could bring your family or a couple of friends would be a unique way to find out about our organizations in a casual way while learning more about our career opportunities,” explained Kathy Waterman, senior staffing specialist.
Candidates who attend will be eligible for up to four free tickets to that night’s New England Revolution game to enjoy with family or friends. Therapists who attend will also be entered to win a $2,500 Simon Mall gift card.
David Tscherne, a current Partners HealthCare at Home employee, added, “I joined Partners HealthCare at Home after attending a hiring event where I was able to meet current clinicians and managers informally. It helped me make the right decision for me, which was to transition to a home care physical therapist. Now I attend the events and talk to potential candidates about why I enjoy my job and the company I work for.”
