Do you believe enough to shell out the big bucks??
Seats still available for Cher’s Hill gig at site TBD
Cher fans who shelled out $250 or more to see the aging diva perform at a Boston benefit for Hillary Clinton Friday still don’t know where they’ll be watching the show! Word from our Cher aficionados is that the campaign won’t tell ticket-holders until tomorrow where the concert will take place. Well, maybe they’re waiting to see how many tickets they sell. You know, is it a TD Garden- sized crowd or more of a Paradise Rock Club audience? As you might imagine, the $45 “young professional” tickets to the show sold out in a hot minute. But as of yesterday there were still plenty of $250, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000 seats left. And such a deal. ... For $250 you see the show. For a grand you see the show and get a picture with Cher. For $5,000 you get show, pic and entree into a “co-host reception.”
And for the priciest seat, $10G, you get all of the above plus a “greet” with Cher and entree into a “chair reception.”
(We don’t think that means it’s the only one with chairs available, but who knows ... )
The show is one of three the singer/actress is doing this week to fill Hill’s campaign coffers. She is in New York Thursday night and Miami Sunday night.
Earlier this year, Cher appeared with Clinton at a fundraiser in Provincetown, but the former first lady is not expected at this week’s shows.
In any event, the good news is, according to a letter from the campaign, the Cher show will be Hillary’s “final fundraising event in Massachusetts.”
Until, you know, the next one ...
