Lee Kennedy posted the shutout and Duxbury (4-22) received goals from Mike Colletti, Evan Craig, Jack Demio and Aidan Luscko and dropped Plymouth North, 4-0, last night in Patriot League boys ice hockey action.

Joey MacInnis, Mikey Tersoni and Scott Swennes each had goals for Framingham (33-1) in its 3-0 victory against Newton North in the Bay State Conference.

Rory Madden scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner with 20 seconds left, as Oliver Ames (4-3) topped Wellesley, 3-2. … Pat Moran recorded two goals in a 5-1 win for North Andover (5-2-2) over Wakefield. … Lucas Souza made 20 saves and Somerset Berkley (3-3-0) blanked Durfee, 5-0.

Girls hockey

In the SEMGHL, Emily Marciello made 20 saves as Falmouth (5-1) stopped Canton, 2-0. Melissa Strauss earned the win as Needham (7-0-1) blanked Wellesley, 2-0, in the Bay State Conference.

Caitlyn Burke’s 25 saves backboned Waltham (4-22) to a 2-0 victory against Brookline/Newton South.

Boys basketball

In Catholic Central League play, St. Mary’s Lynn (7-2) outlasted Cathedral, 59-55, in overtime behind 15 points from Jonny Mercardo.

Mike McCauley’s 3-pointer with 15 seconds left lifted North Reading (5-1) to a 4946 Cape Ann League win over Ipswich.

Marcus Mompoint dropped 18 points and Blue Hills (4-2) dropped Avon, 66-53.

Girls basketball

Behind junior guard Ashley Sampson’s 16 points, Foxboro (4-1) defeated Bridgewate­r65-36, in nonleague play.
