- — STAFF AND WIRE REPORTS

Bradley Jomard finished with 17 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals to help the second-seeded MIT men’s basketball team edge topranked Babson, 67-62, in the NEWMAC tournament championship game yesterday in Wellesley. With the victory, MIT (21-5) avenged a pair of regularseason losses to Babson and earned the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division 3 tournament.
