Strong medicine needed

The Massachusetts congressional delegation has to be the most negative, do-nothing group of politicians in the country (“Deal’s off for health care,” March 25). Judging from their behavior, they must think the Affordable Care Act, Obamacare, is perfect.

In general, these lawmakers’ main purpose seems to be reelection, which is a given in a state where the main qualification is having a “D” after their name.

The two-party system we have isn’t working, but they take it to a new level. — John Lucente, Lexington
