Robert S. Johnson, at 65, of Rockland, avid painter

Robert S. Johnson of Rockland died Monday at South Shore Hospital. He was 65. He was born in Worcester. He loved painting, landscaping and drawing in his spare time.

He was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan.

Mr. Johnson is survived by a brother, Gordon H. Jr. of New York; two nieces, Genvieve and Amelie; and longtime friend, Patricia Burns of Rockland.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. today in the Holy Family Cemetery, Rockland.
