Body found in Fens
Boston police say the death of a person whose badly decomposed body was found yesterday in the Fens does not appear to be criminal.
Investigators were not able to immediately determine whether the body was male or female, police said.
The state Medical Examiner’s Office has taken custody of the remains to be autopsied for identification and cause of death.
The grim find was made yesterday at 12:15 p.m. in a marshy area near the 1200 block of Boylston Street.
