Celebrity Series gala a stellar performance
Celebrity Series of Boston presents the Hub with dozens of world-class performing arts events annually. So it’s only fitting that the organization celebrated its work with a bright lights, big city vibe Saturday night at its Shine! on the Harbor Gala.
Held at the Innovation and Design Building in Boston, the brilliant evening spotlighted unique artistic and musical performances from guitarist Kaki King and song and dance group Body Music, and Bridgman/ Packer’s Video Playground.
Produced by Rafanelli Events, the swanky soiree included an auction featuring glowing orb bid rings. All those orbs not only added to the brilliant theme of the evening, they also contributed to the $550,000 raised for the organization’s performance and community programs. Among the glitterati in attendance were Celebrity Series board chair Joshua Boger, co-chairs Stephanie Brown and Susan Thonis, former governor Deval Patrick, philanthropists Eleanor and Frank Pao, Belinda and Henri Termeer, Donna and Mike Egan, City Council
