Wallis was named Eastern Independent League MVP for her efforts during her senior swimming season and also qualified for All-America consideration. She attended the team USA Olympic qualifiers and competed in the backstroke in 2016. She also won the Grace Robertson Award for swimming and diving. She will continue her swimming career at the University of Georgia.
