JACOB ASHWORTH BOURNE

Bourne's all-time leading scorer with 1,584 points, the 6-foot-1 senior point guard led his team to a 17-7 record and a share of the South Coast Conference title. A four-time conference all-star and two-time Herald All-Scholastic, Ashworth also is a member of the school's soccer and baseball teams. The National Honor Society member is hoping to play baseball and basketball in college.

GHARED BOYCE EVERETT

The MVP of the Greater Boston League was instrument­al in leading Everett to a 19-3 record and a berth in the Division 1 North semifinals. The 6-foot junior shooting guard averaged 22.5 points, four assists and four rebounds per game. A league all-star the past three years and a two-time Herald AllScholas­tic, Boyce is just 600 points away from 2,000 for his career.

MICHAEL BOYD MALDEN CATHOLIC

A Catholic Conference All-Star, the 5-foot-9 senior point guard helped carry Malden Catholic to a 15-8 record and a berth in the Division 2 North semifinal round for the second consecutiv­e season. Boyd averaged 16.5 points, six rebounds and four assists per game this season and finished his high school career with 1,098 points.

PATRICK BUGLER MARBLEHEAD

The Northeaste­rn Conference MVP averaged 16 points, four assists and two steals per game to lead Marblehead to a 20-4 record, the regular-season championsh­ip and a berth in the Division 2 North quarterfin­als. The 5-foot-10 senior point guard ended his high school career with 700 points, 215 assists and 100 steals. Bugler is an honor roll student who is looking to play Division 3 basketball in college.

CALVIN CHEEK CATHEDRAL

One of the more dynamic players this winter, the 5-foot-9 senior point guard was named MVP of the Catholic Central League Large after averaging 20 points, 11 rebounds, seven assists and seven steals per game. He had two quadruple-doubles to his credit. Cheek was instrument­al in Cathedral's run to the CCL Large and Division 4 North championsh­ips.

ULYEN COLEMAN CATHOLIC MEMORIAL

A two-time Catholic Conference AllStar selection, the 6-foot-5 senior forward averaged 21.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game as Catholic Memorial finished with a record of 16-6. A member of two Catholic Conference and Division 1 South championsh­ip teams, the honor student will be playing basketball at Southern Connecticu­t State next season.

EMMANUEL DAMBREVILL­E BRIDGEWATE­R- RAYNHAM

The 6-foot-3 senior guard was named an Old Colony League All-Star after averaging 19 points, 12 rebounds, four steals and four assists per game in leading his team to the Division 1 South semifinals. Dambrevill­e ended his career with 1,120 points and 624 rebounds. A member of the Student Council and an honor roll student, he will be attending prep school for a postgradua­te year in the fall.

MATT DELAHUNT HANOVER

The 6-foot junior forward and Patriot League MVP saved his best game for last, scoring 14 of his game-high 24 points in the third quarter of Hanover's first-ever Division 3 state championsh­ip. Delahunt averaged 17 points and eight rebounds per game for the 23-3 Indians. The two-time league all-star plays AAU basketball for the New England Blizz and hopes to play at the college level.

TRAVIS EVEE BC HIGH

The 5-foot-10 junior point guard averaged 18 points, six assists and three steals per game in helping BC High to the Catholic Conference championsh­ip and an overall record of 20-3. A two-time Catholic Conference All-Star selection, Evee was a catalyst in leading the Eagles to the Division 1 South semifinals. Evee also is an honor roll student.

SAM GOLDBERG MANSFIELD

The Hockomock League MVP, Goldberg led Mansfield to a 23-3 record, league championsh­ip and a berth in the Division 1 South final. The 6-foot-3 senior forward averaged 14.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. A member of the National Honor Society, Goldberg ended his high school career with 743 points.

NATE HOBBS ST. JOHN’S PREP

The junior shooting guard burst onto the scene this season by averaging 17 points per game in leading St. John's Prep to a 16-6 record and a spot in the Division 1 North quarterfin­al round. A Catholic Conference All-Star selection in basketball, Hobbs also is a Herald All-Scholastic and defending All-State champ in the triple jump.

JOHN KORTE WATERTOWN

The Middlesex League Freedom co-MVP was Mr. Everything for Watertown this season. The 6-foot-5 junior center averaged 22 points and 10 rebounds per game, leading the Raiders in points, rebounds, blocks and 3-pointers as Watertown won the league title and captured the Division 3 North championsh­ip. A league all-star in football, the honor roll student is a member of the Wrightway Skills AAU basketball program.

PAUL MAHON FRANKLIN

The 5-foot-11 junior guard was a big part of Franklin's run to the Division 1 Central title and the program's first-ever Div. 1 state final. Mahon averaged 11.1 points, three assists, three rebounds and two steals per game. He was named a Hockomock League All-Star as well as to the league's All-Defensive team for a second consecutiv­e year.

COLIN McNAMARA ARLINGTON

The Middlesex League Liberty MVP was a major reason the Spy Ponders went 22-2, including a 16-0 mark en route to winning the league title. The 6-foot point guard averaged 19 points, eight assists and seven rebounds as Arlington advanced to the Division 2 North semifinal round. A member of the Best Buddies Club, he will attend Worcester Polytechni­c Institute in the fall.

CHARLES MITCHELL NEW MISSION

The 5-foot-10 senior shooting guard led New Mission to a 17-8 record and a berth in the Division 2 North quarterfin­als after averaging 17 points, five steals, five rebounds and three assists per game this season. A Boston City League All-Star and four-year varsity player, Mitchell was a part of two Div. 2 state championsh­ip teams and finished his career by averaging 20 points per game.

KAREEM OCTAVIEN CAMBRIDGE

The 5-foot-9 senior shooting guard averaged 10.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game in helping the Falcons to back-to-back Division 1 state titles. For his efforts this season, he was named a Dual County League All-Star. An honor student, Octavien was named the MVP of the HoopHall Classic.

TYRONE PERRY BRIGHTON

The 6-foot-3 senior forward closed out his high school career on top by leading the Bengals to their first Division 2 state title since 2013. A two-time Boston City League All-Star, Perry averaged 16 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two steals per game this season. He finished his career with 1,423 points. The honor roll student plans on doing a postgradua­te year in Connecticu­t starting in the fall.

ALEX RIVERA LOWELL

The 6-foot-1 junior point guard was named the Merrimack Valley Conference Large MVP after averaging 26 points, seven rebounds and four assists per game. He was a catalyst for Lowell, which won two games in the Division 1 North tournament before taking eventual state champion Cambridge to the brink in a sectional semifinal loss. Rivera already has eclipsed 1,000 points for his career.

RIVALDO SOARES O’BRYANT

The Boston City League Player of the Year as a sophomore, Soares averaged 19 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and 2.5 blocks in leading O’Bryant to an 18-7 record and a berth in the Division 2 South final. A two-time BCL All-Star, the 6-foot-5 guard plays AAU with Expression­s Elite and has aspiration­s of playing college basketball at the Div. 1 level.

NICOLAS TIMBERLAKE BRAINTREE

Among the best players in the Bay State Conference this season, the 6-foot-3 senior guard was named a league all-star after averaging 28.1 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals per game in leading Braintree to the Division 1 South quarterfin­al round. An honor roll student, Timberlake closed out his career with 1,041 points. He has plans to do a postgradua­te year starting in the fall.

MOHAMED TRAORE MATIGNON

The MVP of the Catholic Central League Small, the 6-foot junior guard reached the 1,000-point mark this season as Matignon went 18-4 and earned the top seed in the Division 4 North tournament. A member of the football program, the honor roll student plays AAU basketball for the Beantown Bulls.
