The kids are out of school, and they are going to be looking for TV. Here’s something fun to get them hooked on: The animated “Danger &

Eggs” (streaming today on Amazon Prime) follows the adventures of young daredevil D.D. Danger (Aidy Bryant, “Saturday Night Live”) and her best pal, a giant talking egg (Eric Knobel), who would just as soon sit it out, thanks. Guest stars this season include Weird Al Yankovic, Felicia Day and Jonah Ray.

“Killjoys” (season premiere tonight at 8 on Syfy) returns with the trio of bounty hunters on a new mission — to find a superweapon to settle an intergalactic war. Because no ordinary weapon will do.

This might have you deleting those dating apps: “In an

Instant” (tomorrow at 9 p.m. on ABC) investigates the case of a woman who met a guy online but realized he wasn’t for her. Four months later, he ambushed her in her garage and almost killed her. Police found him — already in custody for the murder of another exgirlfriend he’d met online. On the season finale of

“Doctor Who” (tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. on BBC America), the Cybermen are growing their ranks and the good doctor needs to call in some allies if the world is to survive. Star Peter Capaldi has announced he is leaving the role after this year’s Christmas special.

“America in Color” (Sunday at 8 p.m. on the Smithsonian Channel) explores the history of the country from the 1920s through the 1960s through archival clips digitized in brilliant color, from home movies of Franklin Roosevelt to Elvis Presley’s appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show.” Liev Schreiber narrates.
