GRACE CONNOLLY

NATICK The sophomore phenom further establishe­d herself as the state's best distance runner with a 10:43.61 win in the 2-mile at the All-State meet. Connolly broke the meet record in the 2-mile at the Division 2 championsh­ips with a 10:41.79 then came back to win the 800 in 2:17.56. A Bay State Conference All-Star, Connolly is also the defending All-State champ in cross country as well as the indoor mile and 2-mile.

ZOE DAINTON

HINGHAM The junior leaped 5-6 to defend her high jump title at the Division 2 state meet and then did it again to capture the All-State championsh­ip. She followed up with a third-place finish at New Englands. Dainton owns a high jump personal best of 5-8 to go along with a 16-111⁄ in the long jump. An honor student, she 2 is also a member of the varsity volleyball team.

CAMERON GARABIAN

SEEKONK The sophomore shot putter emerged on the scene with a second-place finish at All-States with a 40- 3⁄ 4 heave. She was a strong sixth at New Englands with a 39-73⁄ toss and captured 4 the gold medal at the Division 4 state meet with a 39-6 showing. The South Coast Conference champion, Garabian was also victorious at the Coaches Invitation­al and the Coaches Freshman/Sophomore Invitation­al.

MEG HUGHES

OLD ROCHESTER The freshman obliterate­d Old Rochester's school records in the 400, mile, 2-mile and as part of the 4x800 relay team. Hughes clocked a 56.56 to capture the 400 at All-States. She was more than a second ahead of the field at the Division 4 championsh­ips, winning in 58.22. Hughes has a personal best of 56.55 and has clocked 5:13 in the mile. She also plays soccer and basketball.

ANOUSH KRAFIAN

BELMONT The Middlesex League MVP pulled off quite the double at All-States. Her 3,243 points earned her the pentathlon title and she ran 14.64 to capture the 100 hurdles. Krafian also won the 100 hurdles at the Division 3 state meet and placed fourth in the event at New Englands. The National Honor Society student then closed her season with a fifth-place finish in the heptathlon at the New Balance Nationals.

HALEY LIGHTBODY

READING The sophomore soared to a school record pole vault of 11-3 to capture the All-State title. Lightbody went 10-0 to take home the Division 2 championsh­ip and was also a Middlesex League All-Star the last two seasons. She has a personal best of 17-9 in the long jump and 15.3 for the 100 hurdles. Lightbody plays basketball during the winter and was a league All-Star.

CLARE MARTIN

NEWTON SOUTH The best middle distance runner in the state, Martin rallied back from injuries to collect four big postseason wins. At the Division 1 state meet, she captured both the 800 and mile, setting a new meet record in the latter event by running 4:51.75. She then won both events at All-States, clocking 4:48.88 in the mile. Second in the 800 at New Englands, Martin will attend Princeton University in the fall.

JASMINE McFARLANE

DENNISYARM­OUTH McFarlane took the silver medal in the discus at the All-State meet with a throw of 121-8. The senior was second at the Division 3 state meet and was victorious at the Sunset Invitation­al with her 125-6 toss. McFarlane has a personal best of 37-41⁄ in the shot put and 2 was the captain of a squad that was presented the MIAA Team Sportsmans­hip Award. McFarlane will attend UMass-Lowell in the fall.

ELISE O’LEARY

MILTON The sophomore was second in the 400 hurdles at All-States and third at the Division 3 meet. She also captured the 400 at the state meet by running 56.85 and took second at All-States. A Bay State Conference All-Star and honor student, O'Leary is Milton's school record holder in both events. She was part of the 4x800 squad that finished second at All-States and helped Milton to the overall title.

RACHEL SESSA

TEWKSBURY The junior ran 2:14.17 to win the Division 3 title in the 800 and 5:03.51 to capture the mile. She then went on to take the silver in both events at the AllStates, where she was part of the winning 4x800 relay team. Sessa won the mile and 800 at the Merrimack Valley Conference meet and capped her season with a personal best of 4:51.26 to win the Emerging Elites mile race at the New Balance Nationals.

SHRAEYA SRINIVASAN

FOXBORO The senior broke the 30-year-old Hockomock League record in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 40-81⁄ 2. Srinivasan was undefeated during the dual meet season and went on to take the Division 3, All-State and New England titles. The league MVP, she is a member of the National Honor Society and a violinist in the school orchestra. Srinivasan will attend Northeaste­rn University in the fall.

SHIRA STOLLER

SHARON Stoller won the All-State title in the javelin with a dominating throw of 145-9. A junior, she is a two-time Division 2 champion in the event and has captured the Hockomock League title the past three years. Stoller closed her season with an impressive effort of 148-8 to win the New England championsh­ip. A member of the National Honor Society, she is also a three-year starter on the varsity basketball team.

SAIGE TUDISCO

PENTUCKET The junior captured the All-State title in the long jump with a leap of 17-111⁄ 2. The North MSTCA heptathlon champion with 4,190 points, Tudisco was second in the Division 3 long jump and took the bronze medal in the 100 hurdles. An honor student, she was the Weston Twilight champion in the 100 hurdles and undefeated in dual meet competitio­n in both the long jump and hurdles.

BROOKE-LYNN WILLIAMS

NORTON The Penn State-bound sprinter defended her Division 4 and All-State titles in both the 100 and 200. She is a four-time Div. 4 state winner in the 100 and three-time in the 200. In addition, the Tri-Valley League MVP is a three-time league champ in both events. She defended her 100 title by winning gold at New Englands. An honor student and talented artist, Williams owns the state record for the 100 (11.89) and 200 (24.24).
