SALT LAKE CITY — The ripples started last night, shortly after the Celtics agreed to terms with Gordon Hayward on a four-year, $128 million contract.

The team withdrew its $4.4 million qualifying offer to Kelly Olynyk, making him an unrestricted free agent and clearing a little more space to fit Hayward under the salary cap.

Jonas Jerebko, Gerald Green and James Young are also free agents who may all be likely to sign with other teams — as did Amir Johnson with Philadelphia on July 1, the first day of free agency.

Heat waive Bosh

Chris Bosh’s time with the Miami Heat is officially over.

Weeks after the sides came to a final agreement on how to part ways and more than a year since his last NBA appearance because of blood-clot issues, Bosh was waived by the Heat yesterday.

Bosh still gets that salary, plus $26.8 million for the following season, and in formality. theory could continue his career — if another team declares him fit to play.

It’s unknown if that will happen.

But at least there’s finally closure on his Miami era, and the Heat announced his No. 1 jersey has been retired.

“Chris changed his life and basketball career when he came to Miami,” Heat president Pat Riley said. “And he changed our lives for the better, in a way we never would have imagined when he joined the Miami Heat. We will forever be indebted to CB for how he changed this team and led us to four trips to the NBA Finals and two NBA championships.

Kings add two

The Sacramento Kings added veteran help to a young roster by agreeing to free agent deals with forward Zach Randolph and point guard George Hill.

Randolph left Memphis for a $24 million, twoyear contract to reunite with his former coach with the Grizzlies, Dave Joerger, in Sacramento, a person with knowledge of the agreement told The Associated Press. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because under NBA rules the deal cannot be signed until tomorrow.

Wizards sign Scott

Free agent forward Mike Scott has agreed to a $1.7 million, one-year contract with the Washington Wizards.
