GIVE MY REGARDS TO ... Broadway in Boston just announced the schedule for its 2018-2019 season at the Boston Opera House and the Emerson Colonial Theatre, and we're in for a slew of shows starting in November. Among the many musicals in store for our city: “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” directed by Tony-winner Jack O’Brien; Tony- and Grammyaward winning “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical;” “School of Rock,” featuring 14 new songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber; “A Bronx Tale,” directed by Oscarwinning actor Robert De Niro and Tony-winner Jerry Zaks; and “Dear Evan Hansen,” which won six Tony Awards in 2017, including Best Musical, and the 2018 Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album.

AT YOUR SERVICE: Garrett Harker — the restaurateur behind eateries like Kenmore's Eastern Standard and Island Creek Oyster Bar, Harvard Square's Les Sablons and Watertown's Branch Line — rallied a couple of his fellow chefs to volunteer at Community Servings' kitchen in Jamaica Plain this week. Tiffani Faison (of Sweet Cheeks and Tiger Mama) and Dave Bazirgan (of Bambara Kitchen & Bar) spent several hours peeling and slicing carrots to be used in the medically tailored meals that the nonprofit delivers to homebound and critically ill people throughout Greater Boston. Aside from doing veggie duty, Harker is also co-chairing Community Servings' annual fundraiser, LifeSavor, on April 26. The food-filled event will kick off with a cocktail party at The Langham, before guests head to one of 80 restaurants throughout Boston for a multi-course meal.
