PRESEASON SUPER SIX

1. WHITMAN-HANSON (15-6) — Panthers have a lot of talent back from a team that won 15 games a season ago.

2. BEVERLY (16-5) — Panthers will benefit greatly from the return of Spencer Brown, an All-Scholastic player two years ago, who was slowed by injury last season.

3. BELMONT (17-5) — A Super Eight participant last year, the Marauders have their ace, Nate Espelin, back in the fold.

4. MASCONOMET (139) — Chieftains have a lot of experienced pitching back.

5. DANVERS (20-5) — Like death and taxes, you can make book on the fact that Roger Day will somehow have his Falcons in the hunt.

6. HOPKINTON (14-9) — Hillers took eventual Div. 2 state champion Greater New Bedford to nine innings before losing in the sectional semifinals.
