PETER LYONS
Vice Provost and Dean of Perimeter College at
Georgia State University
He earned his doctoral degree in social work from the State University of New York at Buffalo in
1999.
He has previously served as associate provost for Institutional Effectiveness at GSU and professor of social work.
He started at Georgia
State in 1998 as an assistant professor,
Lyons was a first-generation student after leaving school at age 16 in England to work in his father's blacksmith shop. He earned his master's degree in social work and an advanced diploma in education at the University of Manchester in the U.K.
JACK THOMAS

Illinois University
He earned his doctoral degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, his masters of education from Virginia State
University and bachelor's from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical
University.
He previously served as WIU provost and academic vice president, which under his leadership started new degree programs in nursing, engineering, museum studies, anthropology, and religious studies. He was previously senior vice provost for academic affairs at Middle Tennessee State University. He is a graduate of the Harvard Leadership Program and the Leadership Middle Tennessee Program.
KATHY HUMPHREY
University of Pittsburgh Senior Vice Chancellor for Engagement and Secretary of the Board of Trustees
Humphrey holds a Bachelor of Science from Central Missouri State University (now the University of Central Missouri), a Master of Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a doctorate in educational leadership from Saint Louis University.
She has been recognized for her work supporting students of African descent, equal opportunity and inclusion.
