Child ‘love doll’ sale flags sex offender, cops find porn
A Level 3 sex offender with a long list of convictions was arrested on child pornography charges Thursday after he bought a “love doll” online — and the service provider that made the sale reported him to police.
According to state police reports, an “e-commerce corporation” alerted state police that a Massachusetts man had bought a “love doll” sex toy that looked like a child, violating the corporation’s user agreement and terms of service. State police did not identify the corporation.

using those companies,” state police spokesman David Procopio said in a statement.
Police investigated the purchaser and reportedly confirmed his identity as Sean McClure, 48, of Shirley.
McClure is a Level 3 sex offender who was convicted in 2001 of 11 counts of indecent assault and battery of a child, nine counts of rape of a child, three counts of incestuous intercourse, two counts of exhibiting a child in nudity or sexual conduct, one count of disseminating matter harmful to minors and one count of possessing child pornography.
After searching McClure’s house, police found numerous images believed to be child pornography and he was charged with possession of child pornography and distribution of obscene matter. He was arraigned yesterday on $20,000 cash bail on the conditions of house arrest, GPS monitoring, and no internet access or contact with children.
