5 PAGES OF COMMEMORATIVE COVERAGE
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sealed their trans-Atlantic union with a kiss seen around the world.
She wore a stunning wedding gown by British designer Clare Waight Keller of the Givenchy French fashion house.
He donned his Blues and Royals frock-coat military uniform, having served in Afghanistan twice through 2015 in the Army Air Corps.
They wed in Windsor Castle as A-list stars Amal and George Clooney, Elton John, Oprah Winfrey, Victoria and David Beckham, Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford, Serena Williams, James Corden of “The Late Late Show” and “Carpool Karaoke” fame, Joss Stone, James Blunt, Fergie and a few rugby stars looked on.
They all mixed in with the Spencers, the Middletons, British actor Idris Elba and countless counts and dukes with American guests.
Mother-of-the-bride Doria Ragland shed a few tears and the newlyweds solemnly remembered Princess Diana by leaving a seat empty in front of the church.
Later, as the couple headed out for a night of celebration in a classic E-type convertible Jaguar Concept Zero electric car, Markle wore Diana’s emeraldcut aquamarine ring.
The Duchess of Sussex (Markle’s new title) wore a tiara made for Queen Mary, who was crowned with husband King George V in 1911.
The pageboys and bridesmaids were a hit. And the archbishop of Canterbury made this fairy tale inside St. George’s Chapel official.
But Harry said it best when he told his bride at the altar: “You look amazing.”
