NO LOVE ON THE BRAIN:
R&B princess Rihanna enjoyed some R&R in Boston this weekend, following rumors that she's ended her relationship with Saudi Arabian businessman Hassan Jameel. The Grammywinning singer was spotted at Cafeteria on Newbury Street, sitting on the patio with female friend and sipping on a Stella Artois. RiRi has yet to confirm the split from her billionaire boyfriend, whom she's been dating since December 2016. But she's been more than busy promoting the release of “Ocean's 8,” the all-female heist flick that has Rihanna sharing the screen with the likes of Cate Blanchett and Sandra Bullock, as well as the recent launch of her lingerie line, Savage x Fenty.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Maria Shriver, author and daughter of Eunice Kennedy, brought Move For Minds back to Boston this weekend, with the help of her organization, The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, and Equinox Sports Club. The former first lady of California — thanks to her ex-hubby, Arnold Schwarzenegger — was at the gym's Avery Street location, where its Tier X coaches led a special workout intended to boost brain health. During her visit, Shriver, an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist, moderated a panel discussion about how people can improve their brain health and fight against Alzheimer's disease. Among the expert speakers sharing tips on how to keep our minds sharp: Nancy Emerson Lombardo, adjunct research assistant professor of neurology at the Boston University School of Medicine; Mark Hyman, author and doctor at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine; Dennis Selkoe, professor of neurologic diseases at Harvard Medical School and doctor at Brigham and Women’s Hospital; Rudolph Tanzi, professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School and director of the neurology department's Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital; and Nina Moore, a Tier X coach for Equinox.
