Take a giant bite of fun THIS WEEKEND!

- By HERALD STAFF

Into food and drink festivals? Then this is your weekend — we found a trio of local feasts that up the ante on delicious, and great shows to watch when you get home: All for a Great Day Out/Great Night In:

ISLAND VIBES: First up, Taste of the Caribbean Boston second annual food festival, today from 2 to 7 p.m. in Roxbury, is a must. The family-friendly event celebrates the scrumptious food, music and culture of the Caribbean. There will be live entertainment, art exhibits and more — and a percentage of the proceeds (tickets are $5-$30, children under 10 are free with a ticketed adult) will help fund a scholarship

CHEERS! Have some toasts ready and head out to Ashland for the Beer & Wine Summer Festival today, featuring local brews and wines from around the world. You can also raise a glass to music and food, which will also be on tap (see what we did there). Sponsored by Wine Empire, the fest runs from 6 p.m. until 11:59 p.m. Tickets are $25. 12B W. Union St., Ashland; eventbrite. com. NET GAINS: Mom always said there were plenty of fish in the sea — so why not chow down on some of the yummiest at the seventh annual Boston Seafood Festival tomorrow. There will be celebrity chef demos, an oyster-shucking contest, an all-day clambake, a Harpoon beer garden and more, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Boston's Fish Pier. As it's a family-friendly event, there are all-day activities for the kiddos presented by Save the Harbor/Save the Bay, roaming pirates, a performance by the Gund Kwok Asian Women's Lion and Dragon Dance Troupe and live music. A portion of the ticket sales benefit the Boston Fisheries Foundation. Tickets are $15. Boston Fish Pier, 306 Northern Ave.; bostonseafoodfestival.org.

YOU STILL LOVE HER, ADMIT IT: Decades TV turns its weekend binge over to that wacky redhead and her 1960s comedy “The Lucy Show.” Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance are single gals and housemates getting into all sorts of wacky trouble. At 1 p.m., Lucy is trapped on a trampoline; at 3:30 p.m., she's an astronaut; at 8:30 p.m., she's a reporter (oh, Lucy!), and at 9 p.m., she and Viv turn plumbers in perhaps the best-known episode.

A FAMILY KILLING: “Ordeal by Innocence” (now streaming on Amazon) is no rote adaptation of acclaimed mystery writer Agatha Christie's delicious 1958 classic. Writer Sarah Phelps has had some experience adapting Christie's works for TV (“And Then There Were None” and “The Witness for the Prosecution”), and in this reworking of a family torn apart by murder, she flexes her muscles in directions fans and Christie herself would not have anticipated. If you don't know the book, you're in luck; if you do know the book, you will be surprised. Bill Nighy and Matthew Goode star.
