Five things to watch

That’s a tough call.
The Patriots showdown in Pittsburgh last season, an epic 27-24 victory, altered the landscape of the AFC. The Pats secured home-field advantage as a result, paving the way to another Super Bowl berth.
There was the classic “On to Cincinnati” game in 2014, as well as a Week 9 matchup with Peyton Manning and the Broncos later in the year. The Pats rolled in that game and continued their surge to the No. 1 seed (and, eventually, a Super Bowl).
When the Chiefs visit tonight, there’s plenty at stake. The Pats already lost the head-to-head tiebreaker against the Jaguars. They’re in danger of falling three games — plus the tiebreaker — behind the Chiefs.
There’s a long way to go, but at this point the Chiefs, Patriots and Jaguars are clearly the top three teams in the conference. These early-season games will matter come January. Here are five things to watch when the Pats host the Chiefs:
