The Sony Michel-James White duo has been impressive for the Pats, amassing 411 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns over the past two games.
The one issue: The playcalling has been fairly predictable.
Michel has carried the ball on 69 percent of his snaps this season. He's rarely used in the passing game. After some struggles against the Lions, the Patriots have essentially abandoned the idea of utilizing Michel as a receiver. That should change this week.
The Patriots will be able to catch Kansas City off-guard if they can throw the ball more when their big personnel groups (Michel, fullback James Develin) are in the game.
Also important to note: Kansas City has allowed a league-worst 5.8 yards per carry on the ground.
