Pedro Martinez, 2004 World Series champion Red Sox pitcher, three-time Cy Young Award winner, Hall of Famer: “The Dodg- ers got rid of me because I was too little and too fragile, and today my nickname is ‘el grande’ (the big one); because on the mound I felt I was the biggest one on the field.”
