Well-wishes for Justice Ginsburg

-

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has reportedly been released from the hospital, just days after fracturing three ribs in a fall in her office at the court. The 85-year-old justice had been up and working in her hospital room since Thursday.

Ginsburg has proven to be remarkably indefatigable, overcoming two bouts with cancer. Through it all, she has never missed Supreme Court arguments.

She was appointed by President Bill Clinton in 1993 and has been a steady liberal voice on the court. Her work on women’s rights issues and, more recently, her rigorous physical fitness regimen has made her something of a living legend in contemporary culture. She has no plans to retire.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg has set the bar for toughness and dedication and we are glad to hear that she is back working. We look forward to her full recovery and her return to the highest court in the land, soon.
