Jordan Clarkson scored 24 points, Tristan Thompson had 21 rebounds and 11 points, and the injury-riddled Cavaliers won for the second time this season, beating Charlotte, 113-89, last night in Cleveland.

The Cavs (2-11) broke a five-game losing streak. Cleveland’s first win came against Atlanta on Oct. 30.

Kemba Walker, the league’s third-leading scorer (27.9), was held to a seasonlow seven points on 2-of-16 from the field.

Rodney Hood scored 16 points for Cleveland, which built a double-figure lead midway through the first quarter and maintained that the rest of the game.

Jeremy Lamb scored 22 points for Charlotte.

Cleveland has seen its injury list get longer while the losses piled up. Forwards Kyle Korver (sore right foot) and Cedi Osman (back spasms) didn’t play and are the most recent additions.

All-Star forward Kevin Love (foot surgery), starting point guard George Hill (hamstring) and forward Sam Dekker (ankle) have also been sidelined. Elsewhere in the NBA — Caris LeVert’s injury wasn’t as bad as it looked. The Brooklyn Nets yesterday said their leading scorer suffered only a dislocation of his right foot and no fractures, and he could return this season.

That’s far better than what was feared when LeVert’s leg appeared to bend in a gruesome manner after he leaped to block a shot in the final seconds of the first half of Monday night’s game . ... Warriors All-Star forward Draymond Green was suspended one game by Golden State for conduct detrimental to the team. In the closing seconds of regulation during Monday’s 121-116 overtime loss to the Clippers, Green secured a rebound, and with Kevin Durant calling for the ball, he instead dribbled the length of the court and lost control. Durant was visibly upset. The two got into it after the final horn.
