Neeson never stops

Star and castmates spotted filming in Worcester during holiday week

-

The show must go on: Liam Neeson and his castmates for his latest action movie have been spotted continuing to film in Worcester, despite the holiday this week. Crew members shooting the upcoming thriller, “Honest Thief,” were seen on set on Castle Street. The Irish actor was personally caught entering the front of a brick building on Tuesday, as documented by eager fans on social media. In addition to Neeson, folks also caught Anthony Ramos — who’s most famous for his work in Tony-winning sensation “Hamilton” and, more recently, for his role in Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s critically acclaimed take on “A Star Is Born” — popping through the side door of the same building on Wednesday. A couple of spots on Castle Street have been transformed for the film, Worcester’s Telegram & Gazette first reported. The three-floor structure where both actors were seen belongs to the Regional Environmental Council. But for “Honest Thief,” the nonprofit’s office will serve as a flophouse for the Feds. Meanwhile, the lobby of the old Worcester Auditorium is supposed to appear in the flick as a bank, which Neeson’s character robs. Earlier this month, people in the Woo noted Neeson and members of the production team shooting on Main Street. Cameras were rolling as the “Taken” star stood in front of an old Dodge parked by Markos Jewelry and while another vehicle went speeding down the stretch of road toward the DCU Center. The movie centers on a criminal, played by Neeson, who wants to come clean with the authorities about his past misdeeds — but his path to a more noble life takes a turn when he realizes the FBI is far more corrupt than he ever was. The project also stars Kate Walsh, known best as Dr. Addison Montgomery on “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice” — and is being directed by Mark Williams.
