Charles H. Daily of Winthrop, at 93, civil en­gi­neer for MassDOT

Charles H. Daily of Winthrop died Wed­nes­day. He was 93.

Mr. Daily was a grad­u­ate of Winthrop High School.

He served in the Army Air Corps dur­ing WWII.

He grad­u­ated from Bos­ton Col­lege when he re­turned from the war.

Mr. Daily worked as a civil en­gi­neer for the Com­mon­wealth of Mas­sachusetts, Depart­ment of Trans­porta­tion un­til re­tire­ment.

Hus­band of the late Irene L. (Paige), he is sur­vived by three daugh­ters, Irene L. Doucette of Winthrop, Jacque­line A. LeClair of Waltham and Lisa A. Talacci of Co­has­set; a brother, John W. of Low­ell; five grand­chil­dren and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

A fu­neral Mass will be cel­e­brated at 10 a.m. Mon­day at St. John the Evan­ge­list Church, Winthrop.

Burial will be in the Belle Isle Sec­tion of Winthrop Ceme­tery.
