Series champion Sox to open in prime time

The World Series champion Red Sox play at Seattle at 7:10 p.m. in the final game of Major League Baseball’s opening day March 28, the league announced yesterday.

The New York Yankees host Baltimore and Washington is at home against the New York Mets for the first games of the earliest regular major league opening day. The previous earliest regular start was March 30 in 2003, 2008 and 2014.
