Ella M. Donovan, longtime Wayland resident, at 84

Ella M. (Mountainla­nd) Donovan of Wayland died Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence. She was 84.

Mrs. Donovan was born in Quincy and raised in Weymouth. She also lived in Rochester, N.Y., and Sudbury for several years. For the past 52 years she lived in Wayland.

Mrs. Donovan attended the University of Massachuse­tts Amherst.

She was associated with the Want Advertiser in Sudbury for more than 35 years until retirement.

Mrs. Donovan is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles; a daughter, Susan L. St. Pierre of Warwick, R.I.; two sons, Mark C. of Worcester and Christophe­r W. of South Riding, Va.; and four grandsons.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Lakeview Cemetery, Wayland
