This group shut down the run and applied pressure on Jared Goff. There were contributions from everybody: Adrian Clayborn stunted inside for a pressure on an early third-and-8, forcing an incompletion. Danny Shelton used a swim move on center John Sullivan to hit C.J. Anderson for a three-yard loss midway through the second quarter. Lawrence Guy easily beat guard Austin Blythe for a pressure in the third. Trey Flowers came free and flushed Jared Goff outside the pocket early in the fourth quarter. Cornerback Jonathan Jones finished the play with a huge hit on Goff along the sideline. Trey Flowers and Adrian Clayborn sack Jared Goff.
