John ‘Jack’ Burke, 82, of Quincy, plumber, Air Force vet during Korean War
John J. “Jack” Burke of Quincy died Thursday. He was 82.
He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a member of Plumbers Local 12 for 60 years.
He was an avid New England sports fan.
Husband of the late Barbara A. (McDonough), Mr. Burke is survived by three sons, Paul of Quincy, Patrick of Marshfield and John of Cambridge; a daughter, Kelly Cox of Quincy; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at St. Ann’s Church, Quincy.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
