John ‘Jack’ Burke, 82, of Quincy, plumber, Air Force vet dur­ing Korean War

John J. “Jack” Burke of Quincy died Thurs­day. He was 82.

He served in the Air Force dur­ing the Korean War.

He was a mem­ber of Plumbers Lo­cal 12 for 60 years.

He was an avid New Eng­land sports fan.

Hus­band of the late Bar­bara A. (McDonough), Mr. Burke is sur­vived by three sons, Paul of Quincy, Pa­trick of Marsh­field and John of Cam­bridge; a daugh­ter, Kelly Cox of Quincy; six grand­chil­dren and two great-grand­chil­dren.

A fu­neral Mass will be cel­e­brated at 10:30 a.m. Tues­day, Feb. 12, at St. Ann’s Church, Quincy.

Burial will be in Pine Hill Ceme­tery, Quincy.
