Cameron Young had a record-setting game in scoring 55 points to lead Quinnipiac to a 107-100 triple-overtime win against Siena in Loudonville, N.Y.

Young set the NCAA single-game high mark this season, a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference record and a program high for the Bobcats at the Division I level. Meanwhile, Siena’s Jalen Pickett scored 46 points, five shy of the program record.

The combined 101 points between Young and Pickett were the most between two opposing players since Feb. 21, 1970 when LSU’s Pete Maravich (64) and Kentucky’s Dan Issel (51) totaled 115 points in a 121-105 Wildcats win . . . .

Kylian Mbappe displayed his match-winning abilities once again, scoring off-balance with a superb volley as Paris Saint-Germain beat Saint-Etienne 1-0 to move 12 points clear at the top of the French league.
