- By MARE STAFF

Keith, Chance and Hope are vivacious siblings of AfricanAmerican descent. Hope and Chance are 9-year-old twins, and their brother Keith is 11. Hope is an energetic, friendly and polite girl. She is proud of her accomplishments, especially in school. She likes to play outside and enjoys going to the park. She also likes to do arts and crafts projects. She is an avid reader and also recently expressed interest in design.

Chance is a kind-hearted and soft-spoken child. He is described as gentle yet playful by those who know him. He loves physical play, such as basketball, soccer, bike riding and swimming. He loves Pokemon and Legos too. He says he likes school and his favorite subject is math.

Keith is a quiet boy who is known to be a good friend. He is athletic and enjoys sports and participating in outside activities. He also likes to read. Keith is a great advocate for himself and for his siblings. He has good relationships with his caretakers, and he is able to make friends easily.

Hope, Chance and Keith would like to grow up together in a permanent, loving family. The children have requested that their future family consist of a mother, father and some pets. They are legally free for adoption.

Who can adopt?

Can you provide the guidance, love and stability that a child needs? If you’re at least 18 years old, have a stable source of income and room in your heart, you may be a perfect match to adopt a waiting child. Adoptive parents can be single, married or partnered; experienced or not; renters or homeowners; LGBTQ singles and couples.

The process to adopt a child from foster care requires training, interviews and home visits to determine if adoption is right for you, and if so, to help connect you with a child or sibling group that your family will be a good match for.

To learn more about adoption from foster care, call the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange at 617-964-6273 or go to mareinc.org. The sooner you call, the sooner a waiting child will have “a permanent place to call home.”
